Today in St. Louis, Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly introduced and endorsed Donald Trump, lauding him as a true conservative who will appoint right-wing judges to the bench and thwart President Obama’s nefarious agenda.
Schlafly, a longtime Trump booster, shares Trump’s suspicion of vaccines, international trade and immigration.
Most recently, she urged the government to organize “railroad cars full of illegals going south,” predicted that Central American immigrants would Ctrl+Click or tap to follow the link"> spread Ebola throughout the U.S. and called on Major League Baseball to ban foreign players “and return our national pastime to Americans.”
Schlafly, best known for her activism against the Equal Rights Amendment and the feminist movement, has blamed campus sexual assaults on women focusing on college and careers, told colleges to reduce female enrollment, repeatedly praised the gender pay gap and consistently claimed that married women can’t be raped by their husbands.
So it shouldn’t be all that surprising that she is a Trump supporter.
