While this month’s “Ex-Gay Pride” celebrations have been postponed, September has now been declared Ex-Gay Awareness Month because why not. Helping to spread the message, ex-gay activist Stephen Bennett of Stephen Bennett Ministries and Daddy Pants Industries appeared on Saturday’s edition of Understanding the Times with End Times broadcaster Jan Markell. He spent most of the time criticizing Alan Chambers for closing Exodus International and criticizing the effectiveness of sexual orientation conversation therapy.
According to Bennett, same-sex couples are merely “playing house” and don’t have “the real thing.” “God has taken that which for me was a nightmare and literally made a fairy tale dream come true,” he continued.
Markell maintained that America is now at war with God over marriage equality. “When that government proposes evil and the people sanction it, that spells the demise of a country,” Markell said, “we are racing towards tyranny in America and serious judgment as well.”
She concluded that the “road is being paved” for the coming of the Antichrist and a “globalist system.”
