Erik Rush Wants House GOP To Charge Obama & Clinton With Treason For Benghazi Attack

WorldNetDaily columnist Erik Rush, who believes President Obama “orchestrated” the Benghazi attack, writes today in a column entitled “Will Benghazi Committee Consider The T-Word?” that the latest House GOP-led committee investigating the incident should charge Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with treason.

Lamenting that impeachment “will be essentially worthless in the practical sense,” Rush advises the GOP to consider charging administration officials with treason.

The primal revulsion felt when one pulls back a wall or floorboard to discover an unimaginable accumulation of vermin bristling beneath is difficult to describe. Whether it’s a seething mass of scattering cockroaches, mice, or rats, even those who aren’t squeamish concerning such creatures may find themselves fighting a combination of nausea and the fight-or-flight reaction.

I sincerely hope that Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., and his colleagues on the newly minted congressional select committee tasked with investigating the 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, have the belly for what they will most certainly uncover if they are duly committed to finding the truth. This is because there is so much more to this debacle than most engaged conservatives know, let alone the average American news consumer.

This evidence, as well as much more than we have space to address here, is indicative of a widespread plan to undermine American national security, foreign policy and the Constitution, all the while galvanizing our government’s power over us and the personal sway of players such as the Clintons, Obama, and their political affiliates.

The extent of these machinations, both in terms of time and scope, is positively dizzying. Whether this serial treason was taken on for reasons of narcissism, power and a false sense of invulnerability (as I suspect it was for the Clintons), or due to an abiding hatred of America and the desire to see her brought low (as was most certainly the case for Obama and his mixed bag of Marxist and Islamist ideologues), it still spells serial treason.

Whether the Select Committee on Benghazi will settle for the impeachable offenses (which will be essentially worthless in the practical sense), or the treasonable ones, again, remains to be seen.
