E.W. Jackson: The 'Attempted Coup d'État' Against Trump Is A Sign Of The Last Days

Right-wing pastor E.W. Jackson declared on his radio program yesterday that there is an "attempted coup d'état" underway that seeks to remove President Trump from office and which is a sign of the End Times. This supposed coup, he said, is part of an End Times spiritual war between the forces of good and evil.

"Folks, hold on to your seats," he warned, "because I really believe that we are witnessing an attempted coup d'état in America. I'm serious about that. I believe that we are witnessing an attempted coup d'état in America."

Jackson warned that people who are unhappy with Trump's election victory "are dedicated to overthrowing his presidency, dedicated to doing it; if they can't find something, they'll make something up."

"These people don't care anything about our country," he stated. "The people who are out to bring the president down, they don't care anything about this country; they care our their ideology, they care about their power, they care about their own status, they care about their socialist, atheist viewpoint and that's what they want to push on every single American whether we like it or not."

"I really believe that President Trump is the man that God has allowed us to have as president to try to undo some of the damage that's been done over the last eight years, and the devil is giving him what for," Jackson added. "I have a biblical worldview and I look at the world through the lens of the word of God and frankly, I think what's going on is much, much bigger than President Trump. I think it's bigger than any of us. I think we are seeing the arraying of the forces of darkness against the forces of light that Jesus said would come in the Last Days and I think we're watching it sort of begin to unfold."
