Right-wing pastor E.W. Jackson joined Vision America's Rick Scarborough earlier this month at a "Vote Your Values" event in Pennsylvania organized by the American Pastors Network, where he declared that President Obama is literally "demonic."
Jackson told the assembled group of pastors that his great-grandparents were born into slavery in Virginia and would never have imagined that their great-grandson would one day become the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor in that state, as he was in 2013.
Despite that progress, Jackson said, America is still being "torn asunder by racial strife," and it's all Obama's fault.
"This comes at the end of a seven-and-a-half-year tenure by the first black president of the United States of America," Jackson said. "You would have thought we would be better off racially now then we have ever been, but instead we seem to be worse off then we've been in a long, long time and it's because this man has unleashed hell on this country! I don't care what the color of his skin is, he's demonic. He's demonic."
