Donald Trump appeared yesterday on the Las Vegas radio program of conservative conspiracy theorist and vocal Trump supporter Wayne Allyn Root, where he bragged about his poll numbers, claiming that he is leading in several key swing states where he is actually either tied or behind.
Voters, Trump said, “want things,” including “common sense,” “lower taxes” and “Supreme Court justices.”
“They want strong borders and they want proper immigration,” he continued. “They want people to come into the country but they want them to come in legally. They don’t want people coming in from the Middle East that are going to blow up our country. And you know, etc. It’s really common sense if you think about it.”
