This week on his program on Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze radio network, Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke warned that if the U.S. continues to accept Syrian refugees, it will amount to “national suicide,” comparing refugees to contaminated cans of SpaghettiOs
“Campbell’s soup recently had a recall on SpaghettiOs,” Clarke explained. “A couple of cans of SpaghettiOs turned up with plastic chips in them. Campbell’s doesn’t know how they got in there. You know what Campbell’s had to do? They had to recall that entire lot of SpaghettiOs.”
Clarke said that Campbell’s had to “reasonably” and “safely” assume that every can was contaminated, and therefore had to recall all of the SpaghettiOs. The same logic, according to Clarke, should be applied to Syrian refugees because every one might be a terrorist. Thus, he said, the U.S. must put a full stop to accepting refugees from the war-torn country.
