Dave Hayes, a self-declared prophet, Christian author, and online activist who is better known as the “Praying Medic,” hosted a livestream on Saturday in which he proclaimed that Christians are going to have to rethink their conception of the End Times because President Trump is on the verge of creating a literal utopia on earth.
Hayes argued that the contemporary interpretation of the events depicted in the book of Revelation, in which things grow worse and more corrupt as the return of Christ nears, is faulty and was crafted at a time when the world was regularly going through massive global conflicts. The many evangelical Christians who have been taught that version of the End Times, Hayes insisted, have been misled because "now we are past that" and are actually living in a world that is increasingly heading toward utopia, thanks to Trump.
"Now we have Trump," he said. "If Trump manages to get rid of the deep state, if Trump manages to get rid of the Rothschilds, George Soros, and all of the people that are funding wars, then if Trump manages to destroy this globalist agenda, he is going to destroy the New World Order."
"The rule of the banksters is coming to an end, the deep state is being gutted, and I believe Trump is going to defund all of them, destroy the New World Order, destroy the globalist agenda and he is going to be very successful in destroying and eliminating all that stuff that has been built over the last 100 years," Hayes said. "Trump's presidency and what he is doing on a geo-political scale should make every one of you go back to the Bible and look again at your understanding of the End Times, the Last Days."
Hayes went on to recount a supposedly prophetic dream before the 2016 election in which he was shown "a world that would happen if people voted for Trump."
"In this world, there was no poverty, no homelessness, no lack, no suffering," he said. "There was lavish abundance everywhere, for everyone. There was no lack, no poverty, no homelessness, everybody was thriving and everybody was blessed. That was a world I saw that was possible if people voted for Trump."
"This is what it would be like if Heaven were on earth," Hayes added. "No sickness, no disease, no poverty, no lack of anything. Just abundance, total abundance. I think Trump's presidency should make every person go back to the Bible and read the prophetic books—Daniel, the book of Revelation—and get a different understanding because if [Trump] takes down the deep state, if he destroys the globalist agenda, if he gets rid of the Rothschilds and all of these corrupt people, we have a completely different system."
