Daubenmire: Christians Are Not Obligated To Help Muslims

Ohio-based Religious Right activist “Coach” Dave Daubenmire said yesterday that Christians are not obligated “to be giving money to feed those Muslims.”

Daubenmire agreed with one of the guests on his "Pass The Salt" program, which he hosts via Google Hangouts, who argued that the Bible’s call for Christians to bear each other’s burdens is “not talking about everybody" but only applies to Christians and not to non-Christians in places like “Zambia and oh-my-gosh-where.”

Daubenmire agreed, saying that although he supports giving money to Christians in need, the Bible tells him only "how Christian brothers are supposed to relate to Christian brothers, not how Christian brothers are supposed to relate to the lost world.”

He continued, “You telling me I’m supposed to be giving money to feed those Muslims? Are you kidding me? Sorry. Individually, I may want to, but do I have an obligation to do that? No.”
