Hillary Clinton health truthers have pointed to everything from pillows to flashlights as proof that the Democratic nominee is facing a serious health crisis.
You can now add laughter to the list of symptoms that prove that she is at death’s door.
Earlier this week, Graham Ledger of the conservative One America News Network spoke about Clinton’s health with Dr. Jane Orient of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, which, despite its innocuous name, is a far-right group that champions a whole host of bizarre claims.
Ledger, wondering if the former secretary of state has brain damage or has suffered seizures, pointed to Clinton’s appearance last year before the House Select Committee on Benghazi, where she laughed at a question about whether she had spent the night of the 2012 attack alone. (The attack had ended earlier in the day.)
“Certainly, inappropriate laughter, and it’s prolonged, that can be a sign of traumatic brain injury or other neurologic problems,” Orient said.
