The right-wing outlet Charisma Magazine ran a story today about states that still have religious tests for people holding public office, even though they are not enforced.
“With the never-ending battle in our culture atheists bring against Christians, will [sic] the bans may soon be altogether removed,” writes Gina Meeks, Charisma’s assistant editor.
The magazine’s website posted the story on its front page with the subtitle: “This is good news for a Judeo-Christian America, but will the bans last?”
