In a rather stiff speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition today, Ben Carson appeared to struggle to pronounce the name of Hamas, the militant Palestinian group.
As many viewers pointed out, Carson seemed to confuse Hamas with “hummus” in a speech that sounded more like a Wikipedia-based overview of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict:
