Senior Master Sgt. Phillip Monk has become the Religious Right's latest cause célèbre after he was supposedly relieved of duty for opposing gay marriage, which Matt Barber and Shawn Akers see as a sign that "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is still in effect in the military, only now it is being applied to Christians.
"In just a few short years," Akers said we've reached "a place where it very well seems safest not to mention your Christianity; we may have very well entered a time of Don't Ask, Don't Tell Christianity within the United States military."
