On Friday's "McFiles" program, YourVoice America's Ann Vandersteel, who claims to be a member of the "Trump Campaign 2020 Media Advisory Board," declared that she has first-hand knowledge that President Trump's close friends and advisers are urging him to investigate the "truth" about the 9/11 attacks.
While discussing the news that former President George W. Bush had recently made his Twitter account private, Vandersteel began to wildly speculate about why this may have happened, which eventually led her to the topic of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Vandersteel reported that 9/11 "truthers" are suing the 9/11 Commission to "prove that there were detonations in the two buildings and in Building 7" of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. She then proceeded to promote the conspiracy theory by insisting that "Building 7 didn't even have anything fall on it, yet that thing just completely imploded like somebody detonated and demolished the building."
"My understanding is the president was suspicious of that from a long time ago," Vandersteel said. "I spoke to a source very, very, very close to this president over New Year's Eve, as a matter of fact—a very dear friend of the president—he's asked to not have his name said, but I can assure you—I'll say it this way, he plays a lot of golf with the president, OK, and knows him personally, has been all over the place with this particular president on the golf course, and said he spoke to the president about the fact that there is no way—that those buildings didn't just collapse from jet fuel burning, it had to be demolition. So those conversations have been had, that's all I can say."
