Ann Coulter defended the intent of a neo-Nazi murderer on national radio this morning.
Coulter joined host and Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow on this morning’s edition of “Breitbart News Daily” on SiriusXM Patriot. At the top of her interview, she discussed an incident in which a conservative student activist was assaulted at U.C. Berkeley. Coulter likened the incident to neo-Nazi James Fields driving his vehicle into a crowd of counter-demonstrators opposing the Unite the Right white supremacist gathering, murdering Heather Heyer and injuring more than 40. Coulter defended Fields’ murderous intent.
Coulter has previously defended Fields against charges that he committed pre-meditated murder, but since her last written work mentioning Fields, he was found guilty of first-degree murder and a jury recommended he be sentenced to life in prison plus 419 years.
“After Charlottesville, that nut who had driven down from Ohio—and I still think he was just panicked and hit the gas pedal by accident. I don’t care what form of justice was rushed through,” Coulter said. “In any event, we instantly knew everything about him. We were getting statements from his seventh-grade teachers, what posters he had in his room as a small child. Here, we have a video of a thug sort of faking out a young conservative and cold-cocking him. The Berkeley Police had apparently dropped the investigation.”
The interview continued on to discuss the Berkeley incident and Marlow did not acknowledge Coulter’s remarks about Fields.
