'And You Wonder Why They Call Us The Great Satan': Rick Scarborough Rails Against U.S. Embassies Flying The Rainbow Flag

Vision America's Rick Scarborough spoke at a "Pastors Appreciation Brunch" in Orlando, Florida, last week, urging the pastors in the audience to get involved in politics and to mobilize their congregations to vote because Christians in American are being driven into the closet and being robbed of their religious liberty.

Scarborough alleged that Christians didn't vote in recent elections and, as a result, President Obama was able to name two new justices to the Supreme Court and, consequently, "in June of last year, the Supreme Court countered our founders" by legalizing marriage equality.

"Our founders created a nation unlike the world had ever seen based upon natural law and nature's God," he said. "The heartbeat of the birth was that God had a higher law than man's law, but our Supreme Court looked a biblical revelation and natural law and countered both and said the Constitution, unbeknownst to its founders, contained a right of same-sex unions."

"And now, like a hammer, this false teaching is being used to drive you and I in the closets and to rob us of our freedom of religion," he warned.

And to make matters worse, he said that some U.S. embassies are now flying the rainbow flag during Gay Pride Month.

"The rainbow was a reminder of God's judgment and His grace, but now it's embraced to promote homosexuality; not only in America, we export it around the world," Scarborough said. "And you wonder why they call us the Great Satan?"
