 The former president of an evangelical get-out-the-vote nonprofit, which seeks to motivate Christian voters to promote family values and “biblical truth” in the public square, was charged Monday (Nov. 4) with eight counts of possessing child pornography.

Luke Meyer was Trump’s regional field director for western Pennsylvania. Online, he was the white nationalist Alberto Barbarossa and a co-host of Richard Spencer’s podcast.

At one of his final rallies, Trump diehards say they know he’ll win. Or else expect an uprising “10 times worse” than January 6.

At the end of June, in the afterglow of a debate performance that would ultimately prompt President Joe Biden to end his campaign for reelection, Donald Trump startled his aides by announcing that he’d come up with a new nickname for his opponent. “The guy’s a retard. He’s retarded. I think that’s what I’ll start calling him,” Trump declared aboard his campaign plane, en route to a rally that evening, according to three people who heard him make the remarks: “Retarded Joe Biden.”

This money trail is a clear example of how some of the most extreme election deniers have remained active and coordinated ahead of this year’s race. It also illustrates how there are extensive links between the most conspiratorial and fringe elements of the MAGA movement and more seemingly mainstream elements of the GOP.
