Bad Genes

A new document limits the types of bibles that the state will purchase. Only the Trump Bible appears to meet the criteria.

The MAGA congresswoman’s post comes as FEMA finds itself fighting against fake information about the disaster.

Turning Point’s representatives have made two things clear in meetings with state and local Republican leaders — Donald Trump has blessed their conservative organization to help lead his get-out-the-vote effort, and local party officials ought to use the group’s new voter mobilization app. Both prospects terrify fellow Republicans.

Trump didn’t venture far from his typical tropes on Sunday: He fear-mongered about migrants (“the horrible people that we’re allowing into our country that are destroying our country,” he claimed of migrants, saying the issue was the most important of this election); claimed that if he loses, the U.S. is over (“If we lose this election, this country’s finished,” he claimed); kept up his obsession with crowd sizes; and he also inexplicably decided to revisit his unhinged admission that he wants to be dictator for one day.

A year ago this week, Donald Trump complained about migrants “poisoning the blood of our country.” Now, he's concerned about those with "bad genes," too.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, right-wing media falsely claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden administration are ignoring millions of Americans impacted by intense flooding. Media personalities and MAGA influencers have falsely and dishonestly claimed that victims are only entitled to $750 in aid, when in reality that is just the start of federal benefits.
