On yesterday’s edition of his eponymous show, televangelist and survival-food peddler Jim Bakker advertised his $160 Creamy Potato Soup Buckets along with a $3,500 “7 Years of Food” package.
“You can have parties when the world is coming apart,” Bakker told viewers as he showed them his dessert food. “You can still have a birthday party!”
But if you don’t take advantage of this generous offer, Bakker warned, “you’re going to dream Jim Bakker on TV telling you ‘get ready’ and you’re going to say, ‘Oh my God, why didn’t I order something?’”
Last year, Bakker told his audience to buy a $3,000 case of desserts like ice cream sandwiches because nine out of ten Americans could die from an imminent nuclear EMP attack.
